How do you manage a team project

I usually get a good understanding first of what results need to be delivered for a certain project and what are the success indicators in order for me to determine the kind of team I would need to deliver successfully. Once I have this, I start to build my team with the right people or during the project itself would try to develop the team members based on their strengths and of course the rest would be mostly managing them in such a way that motivation is there which includes recognition for any achievements while at the same time intervention is done for any matters that would be a risk for the project.
