POST TITLE: Search & Content Manager
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
HOURS: 37.5 hours a week, full time
RESPONSIBLE TO: Marketing Director
At Memoria, we have a small marketing team consisting of a Marketing Director and Head of Digital. We are looking to add a talented content creator to help us improve our organic traffic and build our digital brand presence. We’ve had to outsource a lot of this, so we are looking for someone who can come in and be responsible from planning to publishing, writing content that will be both useful and interesting to customers, but facilitate LLM retrieval. This is an exciting role where you will have the space to both originate and implement your own ideas. You will have an important voice in how we deliver growth for the business and you will be supported by an experienced and close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
· Create an annual content plan for both of our websites, Memoria Funerals and Memoria Direct Cremations, across all digital channels – specifically web and social.
· Write content in line with this plan and brand guidelines, including sourcing appropriate images and building pages in WordPress.
· Partner with design to bring this content to life, infographics, social posts, advertorials, blogs.
· Work with compliance to ensure that all customer facing comms follow regulatory guidelines.
· Set targets for organic growth and build reports, use data to monitor performance and track against these targets.
