Key responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and modernise existing web applications built on AngularJS, Angular, Node.js, Express.js, and CakePHP.
• Lead the migration of legacy front-end and back-end components to modern frameworks and architectures.
• Design, develop, and optimise new automation workflows using VMware Aria Automation and Automation Orchestrator.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high quality software.
• Implement best practices for version control, CI/CD, and configuration management using Git and Ansible.
• Develop scripts and tools in Python and T SQL to support automation, integration, and data driven processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across the full stack, from UI to database to automation layers.

Desirable

Experience modernising legacy applications or migrating from AngularJS to Angular.

Familiarity with cloud-based architectures or hybrid environments.

Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.

Ability to work in agile delivery teams.

To be eligible for SC clearance, you must have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years.
