Weight Medics is seeking a dedicated and proactive Prescriber to join our expanding remote healthcare team. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care through innovative digital health solutions. The successful candidate will be fully qualified and registered to practise in the UK, with the ability to provide safe, effective, and patient-centred remote consultations.

We would love to hear from individuals with:

• The ability to deliver exceptional clinical care via a real time consultation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, paired with sound judgment for patient safety.
• Achieved SCOPE certification or equivalent.
• Experience working within telehealth, digital health, or remote healthcare services, with confidence using online consultation platforms, digital patient management systems, and technology-enabled care pathways.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, protocol-driven prescribing service with real-time patient consultations and structured clinical pathways.
• Essential:Experienced at prescribing Controlled Drugs, such as ADHD medications, is highly transferable to Weight Medics, the same skills support safe, effective prescribing of Phentermine for weight loss.
• Essential:Experience conducting two-way, real-time patient consultations (either face-to-face, telephone or video), with responsibility for assessing patient suitability for treatment and prescribing decisions. Experience limited to questionnaire-based prescribing is not sufficient.
• Essential: Experienced with prescribing Mounjaro and Wegovy for weight loss.
• A strong interest and experience in weight management, nutrition, and holistic wellbeing.
• A valid prescribing qualification e.g V300 or CEPIP and current GMC , NMC and GPhC registration (UK-based).
• A thorough understanding of CQC standards, GPhC and GMC guidelines and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• A passion for continuous learning and CPD in the field of weight management.

Your Role

As part of our clinical team, you’ll manage your own remote patient caseload, providing expert consultation, assessment, and treatment for individuals with obesity.
