We are a digital automotive retailer established in 2012, working in partnership with major manufacturer brands including Jaguar Land Rover. We combine online car purchasing with physical retail locations, allowing customers to browse, buy and collect vehicles through a more streamlined process than a traditional dealership.
At our Canary Wharf site, we operate a Jaguar Land Rover retail environment where vehicles are displayed, prepared and handed over directly to customers. We are responsible for maintaining brand standards, managing vehicle preparation, and supporting the customer journey from order through to handover.
The site handles a high volume of vehicle movements, preparation, and collections, requiring close coordination between showroom, valeting, and service functions to ensure vehicles are presented correctly and delivered on time.
New Car Valeter / Driver - Full Time - Perm - Monday to Friday - 40 hours - £30k
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Vehicle Valeter & Driver to join our team at Canary Wharf.
This is a varied, hands-on role focused on preparing vehicles to the highest standards and supporting day-to-day vehicle movements and logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring every vehicle is presented in immaculate condition for customer handover, while also coordinating and carrying out vehicle collections, deliveries, and on-site movements.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Preparation & Valeting
- Prepare vehicles to brand and showroom standards (both front-of-house and back-of-house) including vacuuming, polishing and general cleaning of the vehicles.
Driving & Vehicle Movements
- Move vehicles safely within the site and between locations
- Pick up and drop off vehicles
- Assist with customer vehicle collections and deliveries
- Support transport deliveries and vehicle unloading
- Liaise with Jaguar Land Rover service centre teams for collections and drop-offs
Customer & Operational Support
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner during visits and handovers
- Liaise with the Land Rover service centre personnel on collection/drop off of vehicles
- Support showroom presentation to maintain premium brand standards
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations including COSHH and RIDDOR
- Safely handle, store and use cleaning products and equipment
- Assist with transporter deliveries
- Complete pre-handover checks to ensure vehicles meet presentation and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of valeting areas
- Manage stock and ordering of cleaning supplies
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Shifts between:
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
- 8:00am – 5:00pm (most common)
- 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Occasional early starts (from 4:30am) to support operational requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in cleaning or vehicle valeting roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Organised with attention to detail in cleaning and vehicle presentation standards.

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
