Job Summary
At Simitive, we help universities transform the way they plan and manage academic workloads, and our Implementation team is at the heart of every successful client project. From leading requirements gathering through to configuring our software, managing testing feedback and supporting go-live, we make sure each client gets genuine value from their investment from day one. It’s varied, collaborative work, and no two projects are quite the same.
As a Workload Implementer, you’ll work directly with universities in the UK and beyond to understand their needs, translate them into solutions within our software, and lead the delivery of high-quality implementation projects. You’ll partner closely with Simitive’s Project Managers, Trainers and Product Managers to make sure each client gets what they’ve been promised - on time, on budget, and with the confidence to use our products well.
Simitive workload implementers, are also involved in identifying improvements to both systems and processes and supporting the wider business in the development of these.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver requirements gathering and implementation work streams within a project on time and in budget whilst maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Work directly with the client teams to create and administer their part of the implementation project.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate this into multiple frameworks/models within the Simitive products.
- Lead in Simitive configuration, testing and user training.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on all Simitive workforce planning products.
- Be confident to offer knowledgeable and relevant advice and expertise to clients to help them improve their institutional performance through our products whilst meeting their specified objectives.
- Work closely with Simitive project managers to support the client needs throughout the project.
- Recommend solutions for improved processes and communication between teams and for the client.
- Contribute to planning project activities and provide logistical support to project managers.
- Ensure problems or potential problems are escalated where necessary and effective support is provided as required.

Qualifications, and Skills
We’re looking for an experienced implementer who is confident leading client-facing work. The kinds of background and skills that thrive in this role include:
- At least two years’ experience in SaaS delivery, implementation, project management or training (or a hybrid of these), ideally including ERP or similar large-scale system implementations for external clients.
- Solid business analysis instincts and confidence working through the full project lifecycle.
- Good working knowledge of the Higher and Further Education sectors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and clearly to different audiences, from end-users to senior stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding simple solutions to complex issues.
- Well organised, with the ability to coordinate and prioritise across multiple concurrent projects.
- A BCS Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering is welcome, but not essential, we’re happy to support the right person to gain this
