Ideal candidates will possess a strong background and interest in women’s health issues as well as have experience in clinical research or data analysis. This is a paid per project opportunity suitable for professionals looking to share their expertise and expand their portfolio within women's health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on various women’s health topics, ensuring accuracy and relevance
• Write clear, compelling, and well-structured animation scripts tailored to target audiences
• Analyse scientific data and clinical research findings to inform content creation
• Summarise complex medical information into accessible language for a general readership
• Collaborate with editors to refine content and adhere to style guidelines
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in women’s health and medical research

Requirements

• Science background (ideally MSc) in relevant women's health topic
• Proven experience in writing about women’s health, medical topics, or related fields
• Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and data analysis skills
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret scientific studies and translate findings into engaging content
• Ability to review research papers and conduct independent research with attention to detail
• Exceptional written communication skills in British English
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Previous experience working as a freelance writer is preferred but not essential
• A passion for promoting women’s health awareness through informative content

Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
