Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications systems and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various communication equipment. This role requires expertise in both hardware and software aspects of telecommunications, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain telecommunications systems including VoIP, SIP, and network infrastructure, ideally including Avaya.
• Conduct network installations and configurations for Cisco equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair telecommunication equipment using hand tools and technical schematics.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their telecommunication needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during installations and repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, installations, and repairs.
• Provide technical support for voice and data networking and hardware issues as they arise.

Skills

• Proficient in Avaya telephony solutions and Ethernet networking.
• Experience with network installation processes and equipment repair techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and safety protocols relevant to telecommunications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
