      Engaging, thought provoker and I had an opportunity to meet face to face many people I interact inly by email with.

      Cons

      Maybe I’ve had set the visit around the buildings a bit earlier during the day.

      Changing and welcoming,

      Pros

      Arqiva has been so welcoming, the people are really friendly and the culture is pretty positive overall. There's a real desire to shift the business and make it fit from the future. The CEO and CTO care about their employees. I'm very pleased I joined the company despite the challenge.

      Cons

      It's a company that's changing, so things aren't comfortable for everyone, so there's challenges that come with that. Some people have some difficulty with the change and are focused on problems rather than solutions, but largely everyone is working together. The biggest frustration is probably the hyper restrictive IT/security policies. You quickly learn that productivity you experienced before isn't going to be the same because things are so locked down. Finally, the answer to bad processes isn't more processes.

Due to the nature of the work we do and our responsibility for critical national infrastructure, our security protocols do need to be exceptionally tight.       Good company to work for

      Pros

      Competitive Pay. Good opportunities to do well compensated overtime if you are up to it and available for some extra dosh. Very good team - cant say for other depts, maybe I am just very lucky. The networks team are very professional and knowledgeable, they create a friendly environment and they make it a pleasure to come into work. Mid-senior management seem like nice people, but I cant really testify as I havent had much exposure to them outside my team leader who is very good. Met the CEO once when I started, after completing probation. He delivered a very interesting speech on the direction he is taking the company in, and overall he had left a very good impression on me.

      Cons

      Some of the technologies we work with are quite old. Sometimes there are minor issues with cross-department politics
