You get a performance improvement plan from management as means of development, easier to write a plan than take ownership of developing and supporting the people.
Cons
If you want to come to work and be ruled by a firm hand, be held accountable due to management neglect, a smoke screen employed by many to remove any blame from oneself then I would recommend you work for this company.
