Exciting place to grow — rough edges and all
Pros
Working at Hived is an awesome challenge — as Hived is the company that is building the bus while driving it. But if you thrive in that kind of environment, it's genuinely exciting. The culture is collaborative, with honesty valued over politics. The team is ambitious and driven, bringing a real diversity of backgrounds and perspectives to the table. The team has done an amazing job in the first few years, but luckily they left plenty of interesting challenges to solve for the people who consider joining now!
Cons
As with many scale-ups chasing ambitious growth targets, there are some growing pains. Processes can lack clarity, and the pace sometimes leaves less room for stepping back to improve or simplify. But in my experience, everyone is genuinely receptive to feedback, which goes a long way.
