Pros

- Free trip to sunny Barcelona - Birmingham office manager (Kay) is an absolute delight and always a ray of sunshine no matter how stressed she may be

Cons

- Pay is shocking under average especially for the systems you are forced to “self learn” compared to other similar companies and pay talk is forbidden because they pay everyone different for the same role. - If you’re friends with a TL or Manager, you will be treated like gold. Otherwise you may as well be the dirt from the 7th floors dirty walls. - They push that there’s no target on workload and that they just want the quality of the work to be 7 star service but then you are penalised if you haven’t completed as much as others. Constantly compared to other people. - zero flexibility and not remote or hybrid at all! - Patronising TL’s with zero experience on the systems used. Clearly just there to monitor toilet breaks. - the platform itself is shocking and very rarely used to make or modify bookings. Agents do everything back end by booking directly on provider websites. - Unprofessional TL’s who speak about others in 1-1’s, discuss other agents and threaten you if you so much as dare to speak negatively about one of their “friends”. - Random unnecessary rules put in place weekly (no talking at other peoples desks, no eating at your desk, no phones out on the table, no rest breaks) - No one speaks to you during your first few weeks there apart from Kay who is the office manager - constantly being micro managed by other member of your team that have been there longer - raising concerns goes nowhere simply get ignored

Pros

Manuela & Maria are two of the kindest and fun people ever! They made moments during onboarding so easy and comfortable so massive thanks to them. Free trip to Barcelona for onboarding. Birmingham Office manager is lovely and works to hard without much notice! #GiveKayARaise

Cons

I didn't want to write a review until I caught wind of the things being said about me once I was wrongly dismissed. The Birmingham office's management have no idea what they are doing. When asking for help, it's the other new starters or people that have been there less than a month longer than you that offer you help. Team leaders are patronising and rude. Many of my one to one's consisted of my team leader trying to get me to talk about other people both in my team and in others. People on my team that were there longer than me (Exactly the same role) would micro manage and purposely listen into conversations between new starters and would feedback any issues and concerns to managers as "negativity". If I were you, don't notify anyone about any family medical emergencies because they simply do not care and will watch the work you do whilst you are waiting to find out if your family member is dead or not instead of messaging you to check in. But will then end your probation on work avoidance even though they is zero work coming through most of the week. If you help someone else raise an issue, you get told 2 things, 1- you need to stop getting involved in other peoples issues at work. 2- If you don't like they way we treat you, you can just leave. Which is insane considering the company values. Specifically - We are a team: "If I lose, you lose, If you win, I win." Be a good person: "Be humble and act ethically." Once my probation had been ended (due to me spending the day crying at the thought of losing a family member) I was informed of conversations that were happening about me in the office. Someone from my team started a rumour that I lied about my family health emergency and that I had said nasty things about others in my group. During my first week on the floor, I was verbally attacked by a girl who is still working having not even apologised. Team Leaders decided to console her and nothing was said to me because I was a new starter. When I reported her, I was told that they were watching her closely as many other people had complained about her, Including team leaders, yet she is still working there bullying others. They push this whole "it doesn't matter how much work you do, it's about the quality of the work" thing but then make it a competition between workers to see who can do the most work. There are pay discrepancies between employees under the same job role. With they pay being significantly under average for this type of work. You are favoured more if you kiss up to management You are forced to become friends with everyone during onboarding and then panelised for being too friendly once on the floor. They prioritise "white British people" and only fire POC which is also something then needs to be looked into..

Pros

- Free trip to Barcelona for onboarding

Cons

- Pay is under the average for this role at other similar companies with discrepancies between colleagues doing the same role - Everything is based on how long you've been there and friendships instead of merit - Unrealistic targets and micromanaging - No flexibility with shifts - Condescending unexperienced management that do not know how to lead as they have never done the job first hand - New hires for training positions and management instead of promotions which leads to a bad training experience - The app/platform itself does not work and CC does all of the behind-the-scenes.
