Moving really fast with lots of opportunity

Pros

I think there is a real positive energy about Pion, despite the fact that it is remote first. The people are what make a company for me and here there are so many driven and ambitious individuals who are generous with their time for new starters to help get you up to speed. The company went through some change in early 2025 and this was a difficult time for lots of us and I assume some of the reviews here are still writing about that. From what I see now, the company is now at a really exciting point with lots of growth. I'm excited to see what this means for us as a team. The holiday allowance is great at 30 days plus bank holidays, but the best pro for me at least is that there is lots of flexibility in terms of how you work.

Cons

At times the pace here makes things feel a little bit chaotic but this also keeps things feeling fresh. I've been with Pion for a couple of years now and I'm learning new stuff still.

A company that cares!

Pros

I joined the business not too long ago, and I have never felt so welcomed in any other business I have joined. Everybody is genuinely so caring and want to see everyone succeed. It feels so nice to be a part of something bigger than yourself and feel as though we are all in it together. The perk of being remote-first encourages a healthy work-life balance.

Cons

The pace won’t suit everyone. As the business grows quickly, there are naturally some challenges around change, changing priorities, and the usual growing pains. It can be a great environment if you enjoy working in a fast-moving setting, but it may feel quite intense if you’re not used to that pace.

Pros

Pion has a clear goal in mind for the next few years and are driven to achieve their targets. The past 12 months has seen many positive changes from management to ensure that we excel.

Cons

None to note, the company is remote and meeting colleagues outside of mandatory events requires some planning.
