Managers will also deny the fault is theirs and will be happy to put blame on others to protect themselves.

Don't expect any work life balance. Department resource has been cut to the absolute bone, though there is absolutely no acknowledgement of this. Result is that you have to work ridiculous hours to meet KPIs.
