We have some news to share with you this morning... After 39 years at Kier, Mark Pengelly, Group managing director of our Infrastructure business and managing director of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall (EKFB) will be retiring from both positions at the end of 2023. Mark joined as an undergraduate and has risen through the business and has worked on a range of critically-important infrastructure projects across the UK. Andrew Davies, Kier Group CEO, commented: “Mark has been a fundamental part of our leadership team and Kier’s history and I would like to thank him for his hard work and dedicated service to the Group over nearly four decades. “Mark goes with our very best wishes and we hope he enjoys his well-earned retirement.” Thank you Mark Pengelly, for your service to Kier and the construction industry as a whole.

After ten successful years at Kier, Helen Redfern is leaving Kier to take up a new role outside of industry as chief people, sustainability and communications officer. From 6 March, our new chief people officer will be...Louisa Finlay! Louisa has risen through the ranks at Kier. She joined us over 30 years ago as a trainee engineer and since then she has worked in operational roles, delivering infrastructure that many of you will recognise in your local communities and latterly spearheading our clients and markets team, where she has focused on supporting the needs of our clients.
