Last week, we held our inaugural Prime Padel Tournament last Friday at Pollen with 16 staff competing for the win. It was great fun even in the 30 degree heat with a well deserved drink at the end. Congratulations to Kieran for taking home the trophy!
At Prime, birthdays for us are a big thing! To celebrate we mark the occasion with lots of birthday treats from cheese or charcuterie boards to donuts. Just to make the birthday person feel very special, they receive an office-wide rendition of Steve Wonder’s ‘Happy Birthday’ 🎶 (apologies to anyone within earshot). A big happy birthday to Dan and India, who both celebrated this week!!

We held our monthly ‘Thirsty Thursday’ social last week at Diecast 🍻☀️ With the weather finally showing up for Manchester, this month’s social had to be outdoors! We spent the evening in what’s claimed to be Manchester’s biggest beer garden, making the most of the sunshine, good food and even better company. And once the sun went down, the team headed into our private caravan for pizza and a few more drinks 🍕🍺 A proper way to round off the month!
Recently we held our Year 12 Half Year Review - a great opportunity to bring the whole team together and recognise the work that’s gone in so far this year! We started the morning with pastries, pancakes and a Bucks Fizz or two before getting into the review itself. A chance to step back, look at performance, and have some honest conversations across the business. We achieved 20% growth last year, so it was super exciting to share that we’re continuing that momentum at the halfway point this year. And with the launch of our new Q3 incentive (a company trip to the races), we have no doubt the team will keep pushing that growth even further! In the afternoon, we headed over to Challenge Point for a series of games (a bit more competitive than expected), before finishing the day at Canto with tapas and cocktails. It was great to celebrate our results, and also to bring people together, share perspectives, and reset focus for the next six months. Great work, Team Prime
