Think of the Glassdoor Employer Center as the command center for your employer brand. Our product team is constantly adjusting and improving the tools within to be as useful and intuitive as possible. Sometimes we find users get in the habit of only checking certain sections of the Employer Center so let’s take a moment to mention some highly useful, but often overlooked features. 1)      Reviews Section As the quantity of reviews on the site continues to grow, we are working on new tools to help users analyze the increasing amount of data. To that end we recently introduced the Reviews tab under Insights in the Employer Center. Reviews_Tab   Filters allow employers to slice and dice reviews to identify sentiment from certain office locations, job titles as well as current versus previous employees. Negative reviews can be easily identified and responded to quickly from within the Employer Center. 2)      Competitive Intel Job Ads are listed on the side of company profile pages throughout the site. For customers with Enhanced Profiles, only your jobs are listed but for those with Free Profiles competitors are advertising their jobs on your profile page. You can see which competitors are most popular with your candidates under Candidate Activity under the Insights tab. Competitor_tab It’s important to note that for Free Profile holders these highly qualified candidates are on Glassdoor to learn about your company but end up checking out the competition. Learn more about our Enhanced Profile to find out how to avoid candidates leaving your profile page for your competitors. 3)      Email Tool to solicit reviews A few months ago we launch OpenCompany a program to recognize and rewards employers who believe in transparency. The program has been a rousing success and a testament to the importance companies are placing on transparency. As part of the program we created a tool within the Employer Center to help companies gather reviews from current employees. Solicit_reviews     Employers can add internal distribution lists into the To: field as well as uploading CSV or XLS files. The body is pre-populated with suggested text to help rally support. A table at the bottom of the page archives sent emails for future use and monitors performance according to how many emails were open and acted upon. 4)      Email Alerts It’s easy to keep track of information posted about your company with email alerts. Email_preferences Employers can opt to receive emails on a weekly basis summarizing information contributed about salaries, company reviews, interviews, photos, and awards. Enhanced Profile customers can select the frequency Daily or As-it-Happens to make sure they are the first to know when content is posted.
