Question 1
Q: What’s your experience managing stakeholders and deadlines?
Five rounds including a task is a long process for an individual contributor role. Interviewers were personable but unprepared. Almost cult-like in the way they talked about their “formula”, which is clearly not practiced because they will try to ghost you. All in all not worth the time.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Adyen (Amsterdam)
Interview
The interview process was fairly standard. Only made it so far as the first stage, though. This was the screening with the HR representative.
However, interviewer was 8 minutes late for the video call. And later cited one of the reasons for not putting me forward to the next stage, was because we ran over time. Their questions were vague, quite open ended, leaving a lot of space for expansive answers with detail. They also criticized what they called a lack of conciseness in my answers.
Their framing of the interview as a general chat, introduction clearly wasn't accurate, as this was meant to be a much more structured interview.
