The interview was pleasant, the interviewers were kind and very generous, perhaps the best interview experience I have ever had. I was told the interview went really well at the end by the interviewers who were senior managers in the area I wished to pursue a career, they told me they liked my experience and thought I'd be a great fit, and that they would now try and place me with a client. However, at that stage my CV and feedback went to someone else more senior whom I havent met, and I was told a few weeks later that there wasn't enough experience on my CV to be put forward to the client. This obviously is disappointing, but if they changed approach going forward, it would at least show more consideration for people than the businesses bottom line. The way it was handled just isnt quite right. In terms of feedback for the process going forward - it amounted to false hope for someone who doesn't currently have an income, when you're not going to then make an offer that's a real kick in the teeth as it feels like a massive waste of time and effort, when that doesn't need to happen. If you dont have a role ready to fill, or you dont know the specific requirements of the role, dont interview for it - because the candidate isnt provided with a fair chance to prove that they are suitable for the position, and certainly dont make good noises if you're then not going to make an offer. Thanks.
