BDO Technical Lead interview questions

First stage interview. Very platonic interviewer. Went through motions and didn't really ask any engaging questions, other than about career history and what experience I have. He did give a good breakdown of the role and expectations though. I asked plenty of questions at the end, showing interest, and all in all it seemed to be a positive interview. Received an email a couple of weeks later to say "we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a position at BDO at this stage". No explanation. Guess I wasn't the right "fit" or the interviewer didn't like the look of my face.
