Initially I got a call from one of the recruiters to talk more about what I am looking for. She was impressed and put me through to interview within a group zoom. This was my first time doing this so I already found it quite nerve racking.
I did not expect it to be so time consuming and exhausting! You get put into a zoom call with 25+ people as you go around and tell them about yourself and other tasks throughout. I was told on the initial call that there is no experience needed and I had a real chance as I work in retail. However, as everyone is going round saying what they do, they all seem to already be within the sales industry! Obviously this threw me off as I had been told that most people had no experience, where as I actually was one of the very few that genuinely hadn’t worked in sales. This zoom call lasted 4 hours!! To get to the final stage and be put in a breakout room at the end and to be told we weren’t successful. It all felt like a massive waste of time and a very unfair process, as we got put into groups throughout the tasks and within my group there was 1/2 people that would not let anyone else get a word in, so felt unfair. Whenever I tried to speak I got shut down. When given tasks we got 1 minute to come up with an idea then get put on the spot in front of everyone.
Would not recommend!!
