Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barry-Wehmiller (Denver, CO) in Jun 2024
Interview
the interview was odd. I had a call with a recruiter. After the recruiter came the video interview with the manager. He did camera on for 1 minute to review the job post. After 1 minute, he turned off his camera and said he needed to leave it off so he could take notes effectively. The process was very odd
I applied directly but then I was also approached by an outside recruiter for the same role, so I do believe my experience to be initially a solid fit. Regardless of if I was the right candidate or not, the process was 2.5 months of feeling constantly ignored by the hiring manager, which led me to believe I was not going to be considered. When ultimately I wasn't, I understood companies may want to go another way, but it is unprofessional to waste so much time from a candidate who works within the industry. As someone who also hired people, you know rather early on if you would like to seriously consider a candidate, BW could really improve by creating an organized experience for the candidates and to let them know when they aren't the fit they are looking for rather than dragging it on for almost an entire quarter. Either way, I wouldn't have accepted an offer due to this process. It was a major red flag on how the team would operate under the leadership of the hiring manager.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Barry-Wehmiller (Chennai) in Feb 2013
Interview
Interview was scheduled and completed professionally. There were five rounds of discussion. For my position, there was a round with all discipline heads as well as the Vice President.
