The interview process consisted of multiple stages:
1. Initial introductory call (30 minutes)
2. Technical discussion with team members (45 minutes)
3. Product and work methodology discussion with leadership (45-60 minutes)
The interviews were conducted via video call. The interviewers were knowledgeable and friendly, creating a comfortable atmosphere for discussion.
The technical discussion focused on experience with CI/CD, team management, and handling various scenarios. The product-focused interview delved into approaches to development, prioritisation, and connecting work to customer needs.
While the interviews themselves were engaging, there were a few areas where the process could be improved:
- The initial call lacked detailed information about the team and role.
- Some questions about benefits were only partially addressed, with promised follow-up information not received.
- The post-interview feedback was generic and lacked specific insights, which was disappointing given the time invested in the process.
Overall, the interview process provided good insight into the company's work and culture, but fell short in terms of candidate experience and feedback.
