      Manager Interview

      Apr 19, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GIMO (London, England)

      Interview

I had a phone interview with the HR manager that invited me for a face to face with her and another manager. Sitting in the reception was not nice, and I disliked the atmosphere straight away. They ask you to handwrite your CV in 3 pages while sitting on a chair. I then went into a room with the HR and another manager and we talked about my experience and the role. I was asked a couple of specific questions about the industry which I replied quite easily and I felt I was overqualified for the job. They promised to get in touch and suggested me as well to do so. After over 10 days I asked for a feedback but I got no answer. My general opinion is that this company tries to play cheap and they are not professional at all.

      Question 1

Generic questions, there was no real opportunity to show my skills, they seemed to have no clue about the role

No candidate is asked to re-write their CV. The interview process includes a brief application form that asks for: name, address, contact details, list last 3 employers, reasons for leaving, qualifications and the rest consists of questions regarding eligibility to work in the UK. All candidates, should they approach the Company, asking for feedback typically receive this information. Due to the amount of applications received, the Company does its' best to get in touch with those candidates. However, it is not always possible due to the volume of applicants. It is best to approach the HR Manager to ask for feedback directly and to discuss any concerns one may have.
