I applied through other source. I interviewed at Ideagen (Nottingham, England)
Interview
Was contacted by the HR department and an initial conversation with the HR manager was arranged. Felt like a really good conversation. The individual was very positive and obviously passionate about the company. Never heard anything back despite following up with them. Not a good impression I’m afraid
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ideagen in May 2020
Interview
Was asked to interview for the position by the company. Had previously worked for them and was told my skills would line up for this role.
Interview with HR went well. Next interview with hiring manager did not align. Hiring manager kept asking basic questions like what do you did if deadline is approaching and can’t meet it or what if another project needs resources from your team. I gave what I thought were reasonable answers but was told during the interview while those are good answers, we are looking for someone who will fight internally with management to keep resources on your project and fight to get more resources to meet deadlines. Kept using the word fight which was very strange.
