More notably, it became clear that the organization is still early in its federal go-to-market motion and may not yet have a complete grasp of what it takes to succeed in that environment. Selling into federal agencies requires a deep understanding of: long procurement cycles budget timing compliance requirements and platform readiness (e.g., FedRAMP alignment) Without these foundational elements in place, expecting near-term revenue generation is likely unrealistic. Additionally, the role itself appears to be more focused on high-volume outbound activity (“dialing for dollars”) rather than a strategic, relationship-driven enterprise sales approach that is typically required for success in the public sector.
