The interview process itself was pretty straight forward, even though the technical assessment covered a mix of SQL, Python, and stats questions, all structured across 3 different steps: an initial screening with the hiring manager, a dedicated SQL round, and a final combined Python & Stats evaluation.

Interview
They contacted me in March and ghosted me for a whole month before scheduling the first interview. Then regrettably I attended eight (yes, eight!) video interviews over a span of several weeks. I had to take time off work to attend their virtual on-site which was a full day.
The recruiter took an average of two weeks to respond after each round. I'd figure I had been ghosted but then I'd get an email from them asking to schedule the next interview.
Even after the final round of interviews I had to send two follow-up emails before receiving a standard email rejection template from the recruiter. No response when I asked for actual feedback.
For a company that claims to put people first, the interview process proved to be the most inconsiderate experience I've ever had with a potential employer.
If you're thinking about applying to Mozilla, consider whether you really want to spend several months meeting half the staff and being dragged through interview purgatory. Hard pass.
We're deeply sorry you had such a poor experience during your interviewing here. Your experience certainly is not acceptable to us, and we're committed to this never happening.
In the past few weeks we've invested deeply into our recruiting team, in part to ensure your experience is an outlier; we’re also planning to evaluate our entire interview process in the upcoming quarter.

Interview
Simple SQL question posted in Hacker Rank about averages and sub queries. In less than a week received a generic email stating that I was no longer being considered. All in all pretty transparent and quick process.
