Interview
After five interviews it became clear the business is too tumultuous at this time to provide opportunities without risk of reorganization/layoffs and office politics. One interviewer volunteered to me that she’s been crying on her way home from work because of the lack of stability and overall disregard for employees.
I picked up on these themes in the other interviews as well. With the abundance of red flags, I chose not to move forward and would recommend other candidates do their research and ask questions about team culture and climate before jumping in blindly.
