Openreach Trainee Engineer interview questions

Passed the interview that I had to record my answers Then got accepted to be invited to the assessment day over video call, I had to do 2 video interviews and a call about what we would be doing, the benefits of working for openreach and what to expect I passed the assessment centre on the 11th May 2022 but they said there are no vacancies in my area at the moment so it’s been a long time and not heard nothing back since I keep emailing and I get the same answer over and over which is ‘previous to the other email it still stands, there are no vacancies in your area at the moment but once we get vacancies we will be sure to call you’ I have currently been waiting for 16 months and not received any call about when I will start

Teams call with hundreds of other participants. Didn't really say anything that wasn't already on the job advert. The jobs they are advertising for are not available. Received an email a few weeks later to say i was successful but there was no job available. I asked how many positions there were and if anything could make me a better applicant ect. I was told that recruiting processes cannot be discussed. Was offered next intake and would be contacted. I chased six months later, I was advised that the intake would start soon. Now a year down the line. Don't bother. Seems they just continuously advertise to get people to sign up for the interviews to hit their own internal targets.
