I interviewed 3 times with Pimco 1 - HR, 2 - Head of Team and 3 - a senior employee. I was told of next steps, then ghosted what was a 5 month process. This felt very unprofessional for such an organisation.
Consulting type of interview. We went through many different questions all very hands-on practical questions that I only would've known if I had more experience, even though I was a new hire. I really was thrown off as I thought this was a asset management company.

What would you do if there was an inquiry from an insurer general account?
It was a positive experience, the teams were friendly, asked interesting questions. About 4 rounds 8 people. Some market questions and the rest of the questions were resume and personality-based.

HireVue first round, then superday with multiple senior leaders from across the firm. All very friendly and welcoming. Some mix of technical and behavioural questions. Good mix of probing questions and more open ended questions about background etc.
