      Enterprise Account Executive Interview

      May 6, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Splunk (London, England) in Jan 2018

      Interview

I was asked in for an interview with the EMEA VP. This was only confirmed on the Sunday and the interview was on Monday morning, despite my requests for clarity, which seemed pretty unprofessional. The interviews lasted 30 minutes and it became clear almost immediately that the interviewer wasn’t interested from his smug and arrogant demeanour to his downright rude behaviour. Unpleasant and frankly embarrassing on his part. Maybe this was a tactic to try and annoy me but it just made me think very little if the individual and as a result what the company must be like. Remember that first impressions count and if you don’t have the decency to treat people nicely then you won’t get far. A good lesson in humility and manners is required at the bare minimum.
