      Communications Interview

      May 16, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Starling (London, England) in Apr 2019

      Interview

Process started well, I was contacted fairly soon after submitting my application and had a phone interview. This is when it went downhill though. I was told someone would be in touch within the next few days but a week went past before I had to chase. Again I was told someone would be in touch. Another week went by and so I chased again and was then told I hadn’t been selected to move forward. I think it’s very wrong to keep people hanging if it’s a no... Clearly the company did not care about all its applicants and therefore I still had my hopes up which also affected my general job search. When I asked for feedback I was told I simply did not have enough experience even though I have 10 years plus experience... Seems it was just an easy and quick way to fob me off rather than provide constructive feedback.
