I had an interview for a retail associate position. As soon as I showed up to the location ten minutes before the interview, I was called by the hiring manager to tell me to come back another time. I did not have a car and it took an hour and a half to get there by train/walking. Never continued with the interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Pasadena, MD) in Jul 2025

Very easy interview. They ask basic questions about start dates, availability, and personal information. Then they have you fill out forms and run a background check. Very streamlined process usually you can go from interview to starting within a week.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Sep 2025
Interview
Super easy and straightforward on timeframe. Hr was great with answering questions. Great job for a college student. Time slots and switching schedules to align with course work. Trainings to get you up to speed on everything was pretty easy.
