I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Uber (Amsterdam) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied via Uber career site.
The position was posted several times and then was disappearing. I applied 2 times and after the second one HR get back to me next day and scheduled the phone interview.
He was late for the call. Our conversation lasted around 30 minutes.
I barely had a chance to say something about my experience, as a was interrupted in the middle of the word.
In the end of our conversation HR told me that my profile was highly relevant to the position. That I was now included in the short list of the candidates to proceed on the next stage and he would send me shortly the time of video interview, as hiring manager was out traveling in US. He also told me that he would send me some documentation this evening to fill in, so they could proceed with the internal check.
He did not get be to me neither next day, nor the following days. In 4 days after the call I received an automatic email that I was not selected. I wrote an email to HR with the polite request to share at least some feedback as the actions were far from his words. I got a reply from him week later that the feedback was not something he could provide. He also tried to inspire me to apply further for other positions. No, thanks. I was very passionate about working in Uber before, but I reconsidered this after such an "amazing" experience.
