What's the first thing you do when you arrive to the rig? Handover Chech well program Chech well control equipment certificates Chech Bop &choke manifold line up Check History Do check drillers and AD's for their checklists or you depend on feedback? Not every thing..but I double check always on well control equipment , like Bop line up and when tripping I check their trip sheets and having safety valves ready and in place What precautions do you take when working with cement stinger? - to have a centerlizer to keep the pipes centered -to make sure that the saels are in good condition to avoid leaks.aftr stinging in the level shouldn't change. -to fill the casing before cementing to avoid casing collapse. What is the max. Time for testing Bop? -two weeks asper aramco policy anx we can ask for 2 days extension in some cases What is the max. Mud weight you used? - 155 PCF using hematite. Oil or gas wells? - Gas exploration wells Do you have fishing tools on the rig , owned by the rig? Yes and we keep an updated invintory of it. all of that provided by eng Baher provided by eng Baher global energy talent : 1- number of wells and max depth you drilled? 2-number and sizes of casing you used.? - 34,24,18 5/8,13 3/8,9 5/8, 7, 4 3- tell me what you know about LOT? - drill 10-15' new formation, circulate for even mud, pull inside shoe, use cmt pump to get L.O.PRESS 4- what is L.O.PRESS usefull for while killing a well? -to know MAASP, MAMWT,and when influx is below shoe we dont allow surface press to increase more than maasp ..but when influx is inside casing we can allow that. 5-what instructions do you give the drilling if going to drill high pressure formation? - keep an eye on Mwt, set alarms,flow check if any doubts or drilling breaks, shut the well in if positive, make sure BOP and manifold lined up........etc 6-how often you test BOP & at what pressures? -every 2 weeks..may have 2 days extension. ..300/12500 psi 7_ what stacks you have and press rating? - 26 3/4".......5000 psi 13 5/8" ......15000 psi 8-tell me the different methods to kill the well? -driller ,W&W , concurrent 8-tell the difference between driller and W&W? - .2 cycles..1 cycle 9-what types of drilling fluids you use on the rig? - oil base,water base,brine water 10 -why do we use oil base muds? To avoid contaminating pay zones 11-What safety meetings do you attend on the rig? - prejob,pretour,pre rig move,prespud,LPT........etc 12-what records do you keep on rig? -safety records.drills,well control equip cirtificates,invintory of subs &fishing tools, reports, maintenance. .......etc
