Healthcare Improvement Scotland is delighted to offer a range of exciting opportunities for talented Administrative Officers to join our organisation, initially within the Nursing and Integrated Care Directorate or Quality Assurance and Regulation Directorate.
These are permanent posts, offering a unique opportunity to gain broad experience across the organisation. Postholders will be assigned to a specific role for a period of between 6 months and 2 years, after which they will transition into a new assignment within another Directorate or priority area, supporting a variety of national programmes and workstreams.
As the national improvement agency for health and care in Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland plays a key role in supporting improvements in frontline care, as well as leading large-scale transformation across the country. These roles will contribute to the delivery of high-impact, national work that shapes how health and care services are delivered across Scotland.
As an experienced Administrator, you will provide a range of services to support individuals and teams across the organisation to support the smooth running of the day-to-day business, which can involve:
Successful candidates will have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage competing demands and be comfortable working on their own, as well as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and online tools such as MS Teams is required to support hybrid working.
