We operate a generation portfolio of sustainable biomass, hydroelectric and pumped hydro storage assets across four sites in England and Scotland. We are the UK’s largest source of renewable electricity.
We are already the UK’s largest provider of renewable energy - with our biomass generation at Drax Power Station and pumped storage and hydro sites in England and Scotland, plus our biomass from waste plant at Daldowie. Home of the largest decarbonisation project in Europe, Drax Power Station in North Yorkshire provides the most renewable power of any single location in the UK, enough electricity to power the equivalent of four million homes.
