From our Suffolk base we’re plotting ways to get the whole world swinging through the trees. We have plenty of big hairy goals and our mission remains to be the best adventure company on the planet. We’ve grown up a lot since we launched at Thetford Forest back in 2002, but that doesn’t mean we rest on our laurels. We’re committed to creating outdoor adventure that all will adore. For both our customers and co-owners.
Hello. We're Go Ape – the outdoor adventure folk. You can find us in 36 of the UK’s most incredible parks, woodlands and forests. Scattered across these beautiful shores. We love nothing more than encouraging others to live life more adventurously in the fresh air. Come rain or shine. To create some memories. And, most importantly, to have some fun. We’ve been providing adventures since 2002 and have welcomed over 10 million customers into the trees.
We believe zero risk equals zero development. Without an element of developmental risk it isn’t an adventure, it’s a ride. We boost confidence and risk management skills and get a buzz turning "I can't" into "I can". We aim to challenge, surprise and excite, designing in customer wow. We support the campaign for adventure which seeks to show that life is best approached in a spirit of exploration, adventure and enterprise.
We're Employee Owned which means every Go Ape employee, whether full time, part time or a seasonal worker, are co-owners of the business.
