Description As one of Kent’s largest employers, we are committed to having a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. People join from all kinds of backgrounds, bringing a variety of skills and experience. As well as frontline officers, we employ police staff and volunteers who carry out vital work such as answering emergency calls, forensics, working within finance or harnessing the latest advancements in technology.

We are responsible for policing 1,433 square miles and approximately 1.8 million inhabitants of Kent. We are a unique force in that we also operate a station outside of the UK, in Coquelles, France. The force is supported by the National Police Air Service, and we have a number of qualified drone pilots.
