Ringtons is a nationwide producer of award-winning tea, specialty coffee and other items such as biscuits, gifts, sweet treats and much more.
Our story dates back to 1907 when Samuel Smith started the business with the idea to sell quality tea directly to people at their home. He started with a £250 investment from a business partner, and a horse drawn cart. Today, Ringtons has one of the largest tea and coffee manufacturing facilities in the UK and remains a family business under the custodianship of the fifth generation of the Smith family.
The original delivery method of horse and cart has been replaced many times over the years, however product quality combined with the original doorstep delivery method remain unique to Ringtons.
With over 250,000 customers nationwide and 45 million Ringtons drinks produced every week, it's fair to say we know our coffee and tea. Our expertise in the beverages industry ensures fresh, quality tea and coffee is delivered within weeks of being made and our customers have the best experience whether they buy online or from one of our dedicated doorstep salespeople.
Doorstep customers receive a regular delivery of tea, coffee, edibles and gifts straight to their homes via our traditional doorstep delivery service, whilst our online store brings Ringtons products to a world-wide audience.
Our tea and coffee facility based in the North of England not only produces its own range of tea and coffee, it also roasts specialty coffee as well as creating private label opportunities including buying, packing and blending tea for prestigious UK retailers. We also provide the Ringtons standard to the nations cafes, restaurants, hotels and workplaces via our wholesale division.
Taking accountability for the whole process, Ringtons invests in its supply chain and maintains control over all production and innovation included it’s LeafLock technology.
