Founded in 2003, Sumo Digital has grown exponentially from a rather humble beginning of just 12 people to well over 600 people spread across our seven UK studios in Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leamington Spa, North West in Warrington, The Chinese Room in Brighton, Red Kite Games in Leeds, along with our India studio in Pune making us one of the largest developers in the UK video games industry.
We have a proven track record of developing 60+ games across multiple formats based on well-known IPs and titles including Crackdown 3, Team Sonic Racing, Dead Island 2, HITMAN 2, LittleBigPlanet 3, Forza Horizon 4, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Disney Infinity: Toybox Speed Way.
Sumo Digital is a multi award-winning studio including Best Large Independent Studio at the DICE 2016 awards and a complement of TIGA and Gamescom awards across our numerous titles including Best Family Game, Best Online and Social Game, Best Arcade Game and Best Casual Game.
