The Emirates story started in Dubai in 1985 when operations were launched with just two aircraft. Today, they fly the world’s biggest fleet of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. The carrier provides scheduled passenger and cargo services to more than 140 destinations in over 80 countries around the globe. Emirates operates a fleet of more than 250 Boeing and Airbus jets and about 10 cargo freighters.
