Description Joseph Walker founded Walker's Shortbread when he opened his village bakery in the Speyside village of Aberlour in 1898 where Walker's remains to this day. Now it is Joseph's grandchildren and great-grandchildren that continue the tradition of baking Scotland at its finest. Though the Walker family have added a number of new products to their range and have carried out an impressive rebrand during the last century, each and every piece of Walker's shortbread holds to those original values of quality and natural goodness.
