Pros

Absolutely NO positives. You will have no life, no humanity, no dignity, no mental health and no opportunities. Read the other reviews. You do NOT want to work for this company. You simply cannot afford to work for them in current day Britain

Cons

WORK: You will work 10-14 hour shifts, get paid minimum wage which is not suitable to live on. You will have to turn up early for work but not know when you can leave. You will get slapped, bitten and abused by clients which is fine but also assaulted and abused by other employees who are always stressed out. ENVIRONMENT: Imagine a workplace that smells of urine, feces all the time. Now imagine screaming shouting all the time. Now imagine existing in this hell for 14 hours. NO PERKS: NO BREAKS. You literally have zero set breaks apart from the "unspoken" time for a cigarette. You will have no life, no mental health, no dignity. PAY: This employer will do everyhting they can to not pay you. Overtime is paid the NEXT month, which means you work in advance to wait to pay your bills TWO months down the line. NO SICK PAY bar minimal ssp. They will give you zero sick pay in the first year and in the second you are told you get 7 days but this is a lie. I will explain. The 7 days are provided your sickness score is top notch. If not, then you get ZERO sick pay in the second year. Considering this is a place where you work very long hours and are exposed to excrement and other sicknesses, you will get ill because you're human. If you take time off for this, you lose your sickness score. Which means NO SICK PAY. The worst example is covid. I got covid three times from having to come into work when everyone else was working from home. I understand Achieve together cannot allow that which is fine, but being sick meant I got paid ZERO covid pay. I also got ZERO sick pay. This reduced my sickness score which means the 7 days I was entitled to FULL pay I did not get. SSP is nothing lets be honest. YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO WORK BANK HOLIDAYS AND CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR. At minimum wage except a £50 bonus. That's right - £50 whole quid to be without your friends and family if you have any left after working here. PRPSPECTS: If you are an adult and have bills to pay, please work elsewhere. Your life, mental health, physical health, and career prospects will be zero at this place. They have the nerve to tell you this is a rewarding job. The tragedy is everything you need in life requires cold hard cash not reward. YOU SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD TO WORK FOR ACHIEVE TOGETHER.

Pros

Not a lot to do in the home I was in. Easy money for doing nothing.

Cons

Moaned at for doing nothing when all anyone does there is do nothing. Criticised and threatened with disciplinary action for not settling in after my second shift. Lack of support from management and other staff. Often sent home early as there was nothing to do, not meeting contract hours and therefore not being paid fully. Poor pay anyway, minimum wage. Management constantly nagging making you wonder what the point is anyway. Felt like leaving after the first week. Emailed my previous manager after the first week to inform them of my pending return. Horribly clique in place. If you don’t fit in, you’re gone. Any excuse will do. Other members of staff could get away with murder but if you don’t fit in, you won’t get away with anything. Unprofessional staff, often the people you support will be told off as if they’re children. Horrible company, horrible place. Avoid at all costs. I’m a strong person and even my mental health was shot after a few weeks of being there.
