I regret to say that my time at Akari Care was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I joined the company, it became evident that the organisation's priorities were completely skewed, and the overall experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. First and foremost, the management at Akari Care was shockingly inept. They lacked the necessary skills and qualifications to lead effectively. Their decision-making was erratic, often leading to confusion among the staff. Additionally, they displayed a complete disregard for employee well-being, consistently prioritising profit over the welfare of residents and employees alike. The work environment was toxic and demoralising. There was an alarming lack of teamwork and support, with constant competition and backstabbing among colleagues. It felt like everyone was out for themselves, which created an atmosphere of hostility and tension. A perpetual shortage of essential supplies and equipment compromised resident safety and put an excessive burden on the staff. The management's response to these concerns was dismissive and evasive, showing a clear lack of concern for both residents and employees. To make matters worse, there was a severe lack of training and development opportunities. The company failed to invest in its employees' professional growth, hindering career advancement and stifling innovation. This lack of support and investment in the workforce only contributed to the overall sense of dissatisfaction and frustration. In summary, my experience at Akari Care was a complete disaster. The inept management, toxic work environment, poor compensation, and lack of training made it an unbearable place to work. I strongly advise anyone considering employment or care services with Akari Care to think twice. There are far better options available that prioritise employee well-being and resident care.
