Pros

• Good network and relationships within close knit district structure • Decent employee benefits with discounts at sainsbury’s and argos • No two days the same, able to switch between tasks constantly so you never get bored

Cons

• Sainsbury’s don’t know what to do with Argos and it shows - have tried for years now to run a general merchandiser with their food operating model but don’t understand its a different market and just does not work • Tough to lead team when so little hours to give and no commission structure for non management despite colleagues being targeted on insurance selling • Sainsburys management teams often regard Argos store in store as burdens and their teams as pests. Really tough to build two way relationships.

Pros

Hourly pay for multi drop rather than paid per drop. The hourly rate is decent considering the workload.

Cons

Terrible management, completely disorganised, and treat staff like dirt. No communication between managers, certain managers love to micromanage irrelevant aspects of the job. No consistency with shifts, and frequently sent home unpaid if there's not enough work. Rotas will be changed at the last minute without asking you, or even telling you it's been changed.
