      Pros

      Well earlier this week I left Boots, that’s a pro - right?? I’m pleased to be heading next week to a business without the red tape, committees, politics, and back-stabbing. Just like ‘crabs in a barrel’ don’t expect to get a career there unless you’re prepared to walk all over those below you.

      Cons

      Having been close to the financials (and obviously can’t share the details here) but the outlook isn’t looking positive at all. Anyone remember Woolworths?! These pressures bring out the worst in everyone - yes everyone!

      Pros

      I worked at Boots St Helens Merseyside between November 2017 and January 2018 and I had a really good time there. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful., including the Manager. I received a present on leaving and it was quite emotional. I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute. They all supported me with regards to my application for my current role with public services. I would definitely recommend working at Boots, St Helens ! One of the members of staff had been there for over 20 years and was still eager, loyal and really nice !
