Unfortunately, there are quite a few! There's some really strange internal politics which stops some really intelligent people be able to do their jobs. There are so many blockers and there's no one really owning HR or any internal promotions/training/upskilling etc. It really feels like there is no room for growth and a lot of people feel very stagnant in their roles. There's no real promotion schedule or even pay increases (in line with inflation etc. doesn't exist), everything feels like such effort when you question it too.
Management and leadership is a problem, no one is willing to go out of their way to support you and you do feel alone in your issues. Some teams seem very stuck in their ways and make comments which I honestly do not think should be accepted but are hard to complain about. They set goals in New York that just don't leak down to the local offices, Europe is a weird place to be and London kind of feels on it's own. The global values certainly do not reflect my experience.
