with that length of service and job title - I can only add my congratulations to your recent long service landmark, a fabulous achievement and one that underpins our values at the firm. Hopefully more landmark anniversaries still to follow. Thank you Tony White, Partner - Chief People Officer

Pros

Touch screen laptops. A few fantastic managers- very small in number but absolutely amazing people. What on earth are they doing working here?

Cons

Incredibly racist and toxic workplace. There is a them and us mentality. Managers will happily let people sink. I don't sink because I know what I'm doing, but it is so painful to watch others drown because they are chucked off the boat by managers for fun. Many rude, snobbish, racist, stuck-up managers. Bullying. Passive aggressive. Don't work here. Partners are very bullying across the board. They have the mentality that we are so privileged to work there and must take all the hostilities and abuse they and the managers give. Staff just leave constantly. The firm is very amateur and badly run. The office is such a disgusting disgrace. The meeting rooms are nice as a show for clients and new recruits. The office is discussing. There aren't even proper kitchen facilities for staff.

So disappointing to read such a review as this. I always have replied to posts both positive and negative over the past three years in my role as National People Director. I believe I am aware of the circumstances surrounding this post and I think it best the processes conclude before I comment further. Tony White, National People Director

Pros

Very near to public transport (opposite to Reading Train station). Sponsor's for your certifications or for your study programmes (with some conditions though). Okay salary when compare with the market.

Cons

No training for new employees - You don't get any training at all. No process or structure in place. You have to forget your personal life if you join CCW. No recognition or rewards for your work. Controversial and Political work place. Managers are partial to specific race (Racial). Partners have no clue what's going on in the team and they don't consider taking reviews about managers (or they don't pay much attention to the review from the employees). Managers don't know or don't have the capability to manage a team. No qualification required to become manager (if you stick to CCW for few years anyone can be a manager irrespective of their capabilities). HR don't listen to employees (very much partial to the management) in any condition. Prohibition too long (6 months). If you do join CCW and if your manager is a old chap working with the company for long? Better look for new opportunities before you get disappointed. (He will say thank you on one fine day and he don't give you a proper reason for your termination. You don't get a chance to defined yourself and even partner have no authority to over rule the decision).
