Pros

Very good training tailored to skills relevant to the current market, lovely instructor, and paid for certifications

Cons

They are advertising themselves at some job sites as if there was a secured job after the training, THIS IS A LIE. There are graduates that have been waiting for 7 months after graduating without a single job interview. Even in London, they have not offered a single role in the last 2 months, and the prospects are really bad for the company. They have a backlog of 60+ engineers waiting for a placement, around 100 students have just started in the new cohorts, and there have been only about 13 engineers deployed in the last 6 months. The situation is getting worse, as we've been told in a meeting where no questions were allowed that their most important clients are pausing hiring. So, honestly, take this just as a 12-week free bootcamp, do your best work, learn as much as you can, build your portfolio, and then be prepared to go and find a job elsewhere.

Pros

The training was of a good standard, and our exams were paid for.

Cons

They are a start-up company and have not set up enough work placements for the total number of trainee's. Despite being verbally promised a job within the 6 weeks after completing training, the majority of us were left without placements for months. I know some trainee's who are still waiting from last year. Because of the lack of placements, they would put us forward for interviews that we felt totally under-qualified for, and it seemed only those with previous tech experience were the ones getting jobs. We were asked to continue training ourselves after the 12-week training period, presumably because the training period was obviously not enough for us to secure placements. The worst thing was the companies lack of communication and their ignoring of emails and messages when our cohort were sat awaiting news on (promised) new placement opportunities. This happened over the period of a few months before I decided to leave. The final tipping point for me, was hearing people struggling with their mental health and finances due to a lack of work placements, despite being given the perception that they would have a job soon, and the companies overall lack of empathy towards these situations.

Pros

- Training is quite good (trainer was very helpful with introducing data science concepts)

Cons

- Management always mentions employment opportunities after graduating from training program, however its been about 6 months and nothing to show for (they say on the website its 6 weeks which is outrageous false advertising) - Total lack of transparency from management and engagement team when it comes to the current status of interview opportunities - On the off chance of there being an interview opportunity, candidates have 24 hours or less to prepare and are told 'this is how it is'. There are still some of us that have not had any interviews yet!!!!
